W E L C O M E T O E N N U I we're so pleased that you have either joined us or are taking the time to browse our site. before you go any further, may we suggest checking out the OOC RULES and IC RULES. if you haven't already, please read ennui's PLOT SUMMARY and follow up with the IMPORTANT TERMS for more detailed, world establishing information. and, if you have any unanswered questions, refer to our site FAQ. as a new member you'll probably be wanting to get into the swing of things asap. to get information on the character groups at ennui, read over the GIFTED MEMBER TYPES or NONGIFTED MEMBER TYPES depending on what kind of character you want you create. since ennui is an animanga rp site, it's time to decide what wonderful fictional character will be representing your oc. just make sure you read over the already existing FACE CLAIMS to make sure someone isn't already using your desired face claim. while you're over there, look at the existing POWER CLAIMS to get a feel for what types of gifteds there are currently at ennui. (while multiples of powers are allowed, please avoid too many power overlaps whenever possible). once you have your face claim and power sorted out, grab the code for your CHARACTER APPLICATION by quoting the original post and copy/pasting it into a new board in the APPLICATIONS THREAD. once you're finished with an application, please alert one of the admins and we'll either approve your character or tell you what aspects of your app need tweaking. now that your character's been accepted, filled out the appropriate CLAIMS with you and your character's information. M I N I P R O F I L E to edit your avatar, minpic, and other mini profile information, go to your profile and click "edit profile" in the mid-upper right of the page. your avatar should 300h x 150w. upload an image of an appropriate size to a site like imgur or photobucket and link it from there or just upload it directly from your computer. from there, select your "personal" settings to edit your display name, minipic, signature, status, etc. your character display name must be your character's first and last name. - your minipic should be 100x100. -your signature can be a gif, picture, whatever, but we ask that you make it as clean and compact as possible. -fill in "player" with your ooc name. -once your character is accepted, put a link to their application in "bio" -while plotting pages are optional, they are highly recommended. if you have one, please put a link to it in the "plotter" box. (unfortunately, you must select either "male" or "female" as your gender, but, if you go to "privacy" while editing your profile, you can make this info invisible using the "gender visibility" option). |
